Hamid MCHEIK Dr. Hamid Mcheick is a full professor in the Department of Computer Science and Mathematics at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC), where he has been a faculty member since 2003. He earned his Ph.D. in Software Engineering and Distributed Systems from the Université de Montréal and holds a master's degree in Information Retrieval Systems from the Université du Québec à Montréal.
Dr. Mcheick's research focuses on designing context-aware, pervasive, and intelligent architectural frameworks. His areas of expertise include ubiquitous computing, e-health systems, software architecture for intelligent systems, and emerging technologies such as cloud computing, fog computing, mobile edge computing, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
