Mohamad SAWAN, PhD

Hamid MCHEIK Dr. Hamid Mcheick is a full professor in the Department of Computer Science and Mathematics at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC), where he has been a faculty member since 2003. He earned his Ph.D. in Software Engineering and Distributed Systems from the Université de Montréal and holds a master's degree in Information Retrieval Systems from the Université du Québec à Montréal.
Dr. Mcheick's research focuses on designing context-aware, pervasive, and intelligent architectural frameworks. His areas of expertise include ubiquitous computing, e-health systems, software architecture for intelligent systems, and emerging technologies such as cloud computing, fog computing, mobile edge computing, and the Internet of Things (IoT). He has contributed significantly to the development and reuse of software components using object-oriented, aspect-oriented, component-based, and service/microservices approaches.
