Amal GHAZAL, PhD

Amal GHAZAL received a PhD in History from University of Alberta, in 2005. She is Associate Professor of History at Simon Fraser University and Director of SFU- Centre for Comparative Muslim Studies. He was faculty member in Dalhousie University for more than 12 Years. She is the author of a large number of key publications related to Islamic reform, anti-liberal thought, nationalism, minorities, intellectual networks, slavery, etc. She received several fellowships including the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada Insight Grant.
